Profile

André Carvalheira is an award-winning cinematographer with 24 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has worked on 25 feature films and over 30 medium and short films, including documentaries and fiction. He also works in advertising and television. He taught cinematography at the Federal Universities of Brasilia/DF (UnB) and Niteroi/RJ (UFF). He holds a solid educational background and stays up-to-date through courses, lectures, reading, and ongoing research. He is a member of the Brazilian Cinematography Association (ABC).
